By using visitmerapi.com and sending an enquiry through it, you agree to the terms below. They are general terms for a tour enquiry website; the details of each booking are set by the operator when it is confirmed.

What this site is

Visit Merapi publishes information about Mount Merapi jeep tours and takes enquiries and booking requests through WhatsApp. Tours on the ground are delivered together with a local operator or partner. The site does not take online payments.

Prices and schedules: to be confirmed by the operator

Prices on the site are reference prices and not a binding offer. The final price, availability of jeeps or guides, departure time, meeting point and inclusions are to be confirmed by the operator for your date and group size. Season, public holidays and entrance fees can change the price. What is included and excluded is listed on each tour page; ask about anything that is not written down before you agree.

Booking

A booking is valid once the operator confirms the date, price and service details in writing on WhatsApp and you accept them. How and when you pay (deposit or full payment) is agreed in that confirmation. Before confirmation, your message is only an enquiry and does not guarantee availability.

Cancellation and changes

Cancellation, rescheduling and refund terms are confirmed per booking by the operator (to be confirmed by the operator) and given to you before you pay. We do not promise automatic refunds. If you need to change or cancel, tell us on WhatsApp as early as possible so the operator can adjust.

Weather, nature and safety

Outdoor activities, including on a volcano, depend on weather and local safety conditions. Routes and times can be changed, delayed or cancelled for safety at the decision of the operator and local officials. Follow your guide and driver, and consider the health of everyone in your group, especially children, older travellers and pregnant guests. You are responsible for the accuracy of the traveller details you give.

Information on the site

We try to keep information accurate, but opening hours, fees, routes and site conditions can change without notice. Content is general guidance, not a guarantee. Photos and illustrations are indicative; credits are on the photo credits page.

Limits of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect loss, delays or changes caused by weather, natural events, site closures or decisions of the authorities, or for third-party services outside our control. This does not remove any consumer rights you have under applicable law.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated; the date at the top shows the latest version. A confirmed booking follows the terms agreed at confirmation.
